A Day with ECo Global: Insights from a Scholar

Recently, I had the amazing opportunity to visit ECo Global Consulting as a scholar. It was such an eye-opening experience to see how this company operates in the technology and consultancy industry.
 

The day started with a warm welcome from Ms. Cleo, and from there, we got to explore every part of the company, from the busy business lounge to the cool development team area. The best part was meeting the CEO, Elen Dela Rosa, and the CTO, Edgar Lajara.
During our chat with the CTO, he shared some really helpful advice on how to navigate the fast-changing technology industry. He talked about the importance of soft skills like communication and teamwork, which really stuck with all of us. It felt like he was giving us a roadmap for our future, including our thesis work.
 

After Mr. Lajara's talk, CEO Elen Dela Rosa shared her thoughts on how to succeed in academics and careers. She encouraged us to believe in ourselves and keep going even when things get tough. She also reminded us about the importance of having a good balance between work and life, something we often forget in our quest for success.
 

 

Mr. Lajara also gave us a peek into what ECo Global Consulting does, explaining their role as a specialist consulting company in core banking, outsourcing, and cutting-edge technology solutions. He talked about how the company values talent from all generations and works to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
 

Looking back on this great experience, I feel so grateful for the chance to learn from these industry leaders. ECo Global Consulting not only taught me a lot about the technology aspects of the industry but also inspired me to aim for excellence in my studies and future career. This visit was truly unforgettable and has motivated me to keep growing personally and professionally.
