ECo Global Consulting was a sponsor and participant at the Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines (RBAP) 67th Charter Anniversary Symposium, which took place on June 4-5, 2024, at the SMX Convention Center in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. The event's theme centered on "Rural Banks: Growing Together and Stronger to a Digital and Sustainable Future," emphasizing unity, flexibility, adaptability, and strength amid uncertainty and challenges. The symposium aimed to blend the traditional strength of personal relationships in the industry with the integration of technology, showcasing how this combination can advance their core mission. Attended by approximately 350 leaders and decision-makers from over 200 rural and cooperative banks, the event provided a platform to explore this synergy.
For ECo Global, the symposium served as a great opportunity to showcase its core banking and lending platform, ECOSLAi, as it continues its advocacy to promote local economic development through the digital transformation of rural banks, cooperatives, and microfinance institutions. ECOSLAi was touted as future-ready technology suite providing interoperability, scalability and security within a robust and cost-effective framework. The symposium also paved the way for ECo Global to explore potential business collaborations and facilitated connections with prospective pilot clients and partners.
